We have access to the Tongariro River, Tauranga Taupo River, Wanganui River, Mohaka River, Hautap River and many more, offering extraordinary trout fishing.
Situated on the shores of Lake Taupo, Kinloch is in the central North Island of New Zealand, ideally positioned to explore the central plateau and Rotorua regions.
Privacy, relaxation, stunning views and comfort are what will greet you at Dunalistair House. It offers large entertainment areas which compliment
open plan living. Four well proportioned ensuite bedrooms, each have Super King sized Californian beds, dressed with egyptian cotton.
The kitchen specs are of the highest standard, allowing for ease of use, whether by you or by our executive chef. A home automation system, media
room with 50" plasma screen and wireless internet keep you only just in touch with the outside world.
Your helicopter will pick you up to take you to fish some of the back waters that we have access to.

To top a day off with style, our executive chef Peter Blakeway is available to prepare a meal, and even your freshly caught trout. He will source ingredients locally, resulting

Kinloch is situated in the centre of The North Island of New Zealand enroute between Auckland and Wellington. The village is a 3 hour drive from Auckland and a 4 hour drive from Wellington. The village is also only 15 minutes from Taupo, and a 50 minute drive to Rotorua.

Cape Kidnappers is ranked in the Top 50 of the world by Golf Magazine, making it a truly exceptional golfing experience. A full day trip by road, or a 35 minute
helicopter ride, this Tom Doak course warrants the helicopter journey just for the mind blowing aerial views! Helicopter transfers can be as little as the
round of golf itself, so well worth enquiring to arrive and depart this way.
The region is famous for the Tongariro Crossing - known as one of the best one day walks in the world. The National Park (a World Heritage Site) that the crossing is within, is rich in cultural identity and dramatic scenery. The crossing is 18.5 Kilometres in length, offering varying terrain that is challenging in places, yet truly rewarding, giving all those who have completed the crossing an unforgettable experience.

with over 25 years of experience, Helipro together with Dunalistair House have put together a wide range of packages to take
guests on trips including Mount Ruapehu, Tarawera, White Island, and also winery tours.

Dunalistair House has an ongoing relationship with Multiday Adventures, a Rotorua based company providing Adventure Tours,
Educational Tours, Team Building, whitewater rafting adventures, mountain biking excursions, hiking and rock climbing.
A professionally endorsed Qualmark tour operating company, any adventure can be custom made if required.
River or Lake Trout Fishing
Dunalistair House has access to private trout fishing waters where you will experience some of the best dry fly and nymph
fishing in the world. Rainbow & Brown Trout average 5-7lb and trophy fish of 10lb+ are not uncommon.
Lake fishing charters are also available, with local launching from the Kinloch marina, only 2 minutes from Dunalistair House.
Some 2 minutes from Dunalistair House is the beach! A pumice beach, stretching for over 1 kilometre, the Kinloch Beach is a fantastic spot to enjoy the crystal clear waters of Lake Taupo, without the worries of fine sand, dangerous rips, and saltwater making it a much safer option for children.
Maori Culture and Custom
15 minutes drive from Dunalistair House is the Wairakei Terraces, where an opportunity exists to experience the cornerstone of Maori custom and
culture. An evening includes being formerly welcomed onto the marae, and so beginning a journey into the unique and mysterious world of the
Maori people.
Dunalistair House is available for up to 8 guests at a time.

CANCELLATION POLICY
A deposit of 15% of total cost of stay is required to confirm your booking. This deposit is
refundable outwith 21 days of arrival. Cancellation between 21 and 7 days before arrival results
in loss of deposit. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival will result in 100% of total cost of
stay. Booking requests can be made through central reservation system, Globalavailability where
secure credit card payments of booking costs can be made.
